JCLC / SUMMER CAMP
MARINE MILITARY ACADEMY: HARLINGEN, TEXAS
Every Summer, elite cadets from the Edcouch-Elsa Yellow Jacket Battalion are chosen to participate at JCLC (Junior ROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge). They partake in land navigation, survival, team leadership, physical fitness, drown proofing, obstacle course, and rapelling just to name a few. The camp is at least one week long and very challenging mentally and physically. It is used to prepare cadets for leadership roles the following school year.

JCLC/ SUMMER CAMP
JCLC (Junior ROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge), which is conducted annually by all JROTC Cadets in the Rio Grande Valley. It is a time to test the mettle of the
strongest cadets from all the local RGV JROTC Units.
